Author: TailsSo thanks to everyone who’s followed me from Blogger to WordPress, your support means a lot! There are many different things in WP that Blogger didnt have, and some things Blogger had that I miss in WP.
The main thing I miss is my Following option. In blogger, when I logged into my dashboard, there was a list of blogs I was following. I’d enter in a feed and it’d show up in order of latest update like so:
Now, with WP, I dont have that anymore 
And I’m sad. But I’m getting used to WP, so not all is lost…
However, if anyone knows of a “following” tool for WP….please tell me! I miss my easy-to-find updates and I read a lot of blogs! Help!

I missed having the Follow option from Google too, but love the blogroll option that uses this plugin: http://prateekrungta.com/linkedlist/wp-plugin. It keeps the blogs you follow in one of your page columns and keeps the latest updated blog at the top. You can check mine out on my blog – it’s on the left column under “Favorite Blogs”.

Thanks! I’ll check that out! Last quick question…how do I set my avatar for my replies so its not this silly purple thing?? I cant find that option ANYWHERE (though I did find one for other people who comment that arent registered, and I chose the blue icon thing)…
Funny, I just figured that out last week! I guess wordpress uses a third party for their avatars. If you get an account (or it may be your wordpress account) at http://www.gravatar.com and set your avatar there it should show up here. Weird, right?
Wow that is weird! I found the word gravatar in the help files, but nothing linked to how to set it up lol thanks again! PS: What do you think of my new banner!!?

Just use a normal RSS reader. like google reader or something. Works just as well if not better because you can put things into categories etc.
