So, if you’re on Facebook, chances are you’ve been invited to participate in the event “Earth Hour 2009“. As taken from the Earth Hour event:

Turn off ones electricity and lights for an hour to demonstrate solidarity with all concerned about environmental degradation deforestation desertification emissions and energy generation that lead to steep climate change.

So, wherever you are at the hour of 20:30 (8:30pm) on the 28th March, turn off your electricity for the good of the environment! Schedule a romantic dinner at home by candlelight, play cards, read (if your eyes can handle it), play boardgames, get an early night… there are so many things to do without electricity (just no more babies, people! Haha!)
