So my readers are mainly female, eh….hmm so I can be a girly girl here and not feel bad about it haha jks.

In other news, I have a card tutorial but YouTube is not letting me upload it for some reason?! I try upload, and after 30min – 1hr it says Upload Failed. I don tknow why its doing that, but I’ll keep trying.

Also have been booked for a wedding in Sept, so yay!! I’ll be renting a 50mm 1.4 for the event, and will be practicing with one the weekend before at OC, so hopefully I’ll have some kickass bokah shots to show y’all!

I’m occasionally searching for inspiration for my engagament ring, and I found these little giggles (not related to my inspiration!) – can you imagine a sushi-ring!?

And talk about overkill!

And after entering swiss cheese jewellery into Google (yes, I truly was looking for cheese as inspiration…dont ask!), I found these adorables! I want (even though I dont wear earrings, really)!

After almost one hundred pages, I indeed found a start to my inspiration, which was great because I was getting rather dispondant thinking there was nothing leafy, delicate and engagement-like out there…but then I found it! I wont post it just yet, you’ll have to be a little more impatient, but dont worry, I’ll post it sometime in the future!

Today was my dad’s birthday and what a stunningly beautiful day it was!! The sun was out, as it was yesterday, only today there was no wind and it was just gorgeous!

Mom and dad came out to dinner with me last night to sushi (a whole ‘nother post!) and today was spent working and relaxing.

Dad’s gift from me is still a secret (never know if he’s reading haha) since it’s a little late, but no doubt he’ll love it! So on that note, happy birthday, dad!!! I love you lots!

(sorry its a short blog, but I’m uber tired from last night’s dinner – I’m off to sleep! I’ll fix the overlapping image tomorrow!)

Today is muh birfday!!! I’m officially 26 years old! *big smile*

I’ve been so blessed today, its not even 9am and I’ve been wished via sms and Facebook already by so many people! Its great! As you can guess, I’m one of these people who get all silly when its my birthday and I love it!

I’ve been so spoilt by my boyfriend, who already bought me The Sims 3 Collector’s Edition, as on Saturday he treated me to a Egg & Sausage McMuffin Meal which I was craving, and then he took me to pick out a new pot for my Delicious Monster (also known as a swiss cheese plant) who was getting far too big for his tiny pot haha. I’m so pleased with it! I’ll take pics soon and upload, I promise, since it also crosses off one of my 101 in 1001 items.

Tonight I’m celebrating at a sushi place that serves all-you-can-eat sushi…with no limitations! All for R120! At most all-you-can-eat places, they say “no nigiri, no sashimi, no salmon roses, no handrolls, no no no” but here, anything goes! Last time I went, my first plate tallied up to R145 hehe and in total I ate R465 worth of sushi (yes, I eat a lot!). Deeeeevine! I’m looking forward to enjoying dinner with my friends and family and I hope Daleen and her hubby (who are in CT for a few days!) will enjoy it too!
