Took a self portrait today while home with a sore throat. I’m never happy with myself in photos, but I think this one’s ok Also tried out a new hairstyle by curling a few strands with my FHI…what do you think?

So a good few weeks ago I entered 5 of my photos into a local photo competition and today I found out I came in second! Ok, so its not first place, and I was bummed at not winning first place (I never win anything haha) but I’m still proud with 2nd place!

Then, on closer inspection, I found it came with a prize of R200!! Yay! That money will probably be used for something mundane like my cellphone bill, given my latest financial status, but at least its something, and for that, I’m thankful!

Nothing more to say about this other than it had me rolling around on the floor laughing…almost literally! I do hope none of the mice were hurt in the wheel though…

The responsible rodent-owner in me is urging me to mention that it’s too easy for rats/mice tails/feet/hands to get caught between the bars and lopped off Proof of why a Wodent Wheel type wheel is much better and much safer for your long tailed rodent pet.
